What is the shelf life of CBD products

For example, we offer different strengths of CBD oil. We have CBD oil starting from 5% CBD and this can go up to CBD oil with 30% CBD. The process of making CBD oil is very complex. CBD is extracted from the hemp plant.
Besides the long cultivation process, the production process is also time-consuming. This makes CBD expensive. Therefore, it is important to store your CBD in a good place and pay close attention to its shelf life.
CBD oil is good for about one and a half years. Once you open the bottle, CBD oil is good for about 6 months. This also applies to CBD salve and massage oil. If you use the CBD product after these 6 months, the potency of the CBD may decrease.
Store CBD products in a dark and cool place
After you place your order at ProHemp, you will receive the CBD product the next day. Always store your CBD oil or CBD salve in a cool and dark place.
This does not necessarily have to be in the fridge; it can also be in a dark spot in the cupboard. This ensures you can use the CBD salve or CBD oil for a long time.
Move your CBD product to the fridge in summer

Although all our CBD oils come in UV-resistant glass bottles, it is still wise to keep the CBD oil out of sunlight. When you order CBD oil, the bottle is packed in a cardboard box. This already helps protect the CBD oil better.
Still, it is advisable to store the CBD oil in a dark and cool place. If you store it properly, you ensure the quality of the CBD oil remains optimal.
Tip: Don’t forget to shake CBD oil
CBD is a natural product. The CBD is mixed with oil, making it liquid. Before you use the CBD oil, it is helpful to shake the CBD oil first.
